Details

The L1 protocol organisation needed to build a brand new team of confidential computing experts that would be missioned to enable their users with interoperability giving them the ability to interact using their accounts or smart contracts to sign and execute across many different blockchains protocols. This will give the benefit of blockchain interoperability by giving ownership of assets, cross-chain account, and data ownership to every account.

To be able to deliver such experience to their users the technology included Rust-based cryptographic libraries, multi-party computation (MPC) and trusted execution environments (TEE’s).

This project started with extensive global research to locate talent that had this niche expertise and experience converting academic and theory into production ready protocols. The effort of the research team and 100’s of hours of interviewing by Jamie Robshaw the founder of SVX.dev the business hired seven highly-talented individuals who are now working on this highly-technical engineering challenge.
